Given the growing popularity of designed beads, I thought I'd go over a few observations on their production.
The majority of the single-color silicone beads we supply are made by pouring simple silicone mixtures onto press forms and wrapping them.
We may create marble, zebra, and our pink sorbet beads by combining a variety of colored silicone mixtures freely and then molding.
A produced, artificially safe film called a "wrap" is used to line the molds and create designed beads that stand apart. Base color silicone is then poured and forced inside the wrap.
This is a fantastic technique that always results in a clear, reproducible example.
