How Silicone Sponge Functions
The normal cellulose sponge that you use for dishwashing is highly absorbent and porous. Because of its composition, cellulose sponges are prone to developing into stench-filled petri dishes over time. 結果として, they must be disposed of pretty frequently, which may occasionally be expensive and isn’t exactly ecologically friendly.
The silicone sponge is not porous, as is the case with its cellulose cousin. Instead, it contains streamlined silicone bristles that stop germs from establishing a camp, preventing the musty odor. This sponge also has the advantage of being simple to clean in a dishwasher or with hot water, allowing you to keep using it until it completely disintegrates.
